About Evan
I am a dedicated Computer Programming tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience, helping students from school to college level. I have successfully taught around 250 students, guiding them through concepts in C, Java, and SQL with clarity and patience. My goal is not just to teach code, but to help students understand the logic behind it and build strong problem-solving skills.
My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can learn programming with the right guidance and practice. I focus on building a strong foundation step by step, starting from basics and slowly moving to advanced topics. I use real-life examples and practical exercises so students can easily connect theory with real-world applications. I also encourage open communication, where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing doubts.
I support students in exam preparation, assignments, and also in building skills for job opportunities. Many of my students have improved their grades, gained confidence, and developed interest in programming. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and learning needs, making lessons flexible and effective.

My teaching approach for C programming focuses on building strong fundamentals step by step. I start with core concepts like variables, data types, operators, and control structures, then move to functions, arrays, pointers, and memory management. I use real-life examples and simple case studies so students can connect logic with practical use. I encourage clear communication and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions at any time.
For Java, I also cover object-oriented programming, data structures, exception handling, file handling, JDBC, and basic application development. I relate topics to real-world problems so students understand how programming is used in jobs and projects.
My style is flexible and adapts to each student’s pace and goals, whether it is exams, assignments, or job preparation. I teach with honesty and integrity, and I use creative methods like problem-solving sessions and mini projects to build confidence and skills.
