About Evelyn
My fascination with programming began when I realized I could create practical solutions and interactive experiences using logic and code. I pursued a B.Sc in Computer Science followed by an M.Sc in Software Engineering, developing both theoretical understanding and practical software development skills. Over 12 years, I have guided learners from novice to advanced levels, emphasizing problem-solving, creativity, and independent thinking.
I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using step-by-step explanations, hands-on exercises, project-based learning, and real-world examples. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing students to explore, experiment, and develop mastery at their own pace. My approach ensures learners not only acquire technical skills but also gain confidence and independence in coding.
Outside the classroom, I engage with software development projects, open-source contributions, and emerging technologies. This allows me to bring up-to-date insights and practical experience into lessons. Teaching programming is immensely rewarding because I witness students progress from uncertainty to proficiency, developing analytical thinking, creativity, and confidence. Helping learners build skills that empower them academically and professionally is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Lesson structure is tailored to student proficiency. Beginners start with basic syntax, variables, loops, and functions through guided exercises. Intermediate learners develop skills in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm optimization, and project building. Advanced learners focus on complex algorithms, software architecture, performance optimization, and real-world applications, preparing for exams, competitions, or professional development. Lessons integrate examples, code review, and problem-solving discussions to ensure comprehensive understanding and skill mastery.
