About Natalie
Hello, I'm Natalie Blue, and I'm thrilled to support you in your mathematical journey. Currently in my second year of college pursuing a degree in Mathematics, I have a genuine passion for the subject and a strong desire to help others succeed in mastering it. My journey into tutoring began with a desire to make a positive impact in my community. Volunteering as a tutor at my local high school, I had the privilege of assisting students in understanding algebra. Additionally, as the eldest sister in my family, I've taken on the role of instructor, helping my younger brothers with their math homework. Witnessing the transformation of one brother's grades from failing to a C+ was a pivotal moment for me, reinforcing my belief in the power of personalized support and encouragement. Beyond mathematics, I find joy in rugby, painting, and spending time with friends. Rugby teaches me the value of teamwork and perseverance, while painting allows me to express myself creatively and find moments of tranquility. And of course, nothing beats the camaraderie and laughter shared with friends. As your math tutor, I am committed to providing patient, personalized guidance tailored to your individual needs. Math is all about practice. I focus on practice problems and mini quizzes along with verbal explanations of why certain formulas work. I like to work with students on developing silly acronyms or sayings to help with memorization. My target demographics are middle and high school math students. What sets me apart as a tutor is I am very appreciative of feedback. It is important for students to inform me of what methods help them. I will always be open to conversation on formulating teaching to their needs.
