Hi! I’m Stephanie, an experienced English educator with a bachelor’s degree in English and a background in teaching at the high school level. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and practical. I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” lessons — I tailor each session to the student’s goals, whether that’s improving grades, strengthening writing skills, preparing for the SAT, or polishing a resume or personal statement. I focus on why something works, not just what to do, so students can apply the skills independently long after our sessions end.
Sessions are one-on-one and fully personalized based on the student’s goals. Each lesson includes targeted instruction, guided practice, and real-time feedback. I break concepts down clearly, track progress over time, and adjust lessons as needed. Optional practice or homework can be provided to reinforce skills between sessions.
