About MEG DEZI
Hi, I’m Meg Dezi! I’m a Grade 12 STEM student at the Philippine Science High School under the Chemistry Core, with additional experience in Environmental Toxicology, scientific research, and mathematics and statistics. I’ve also participated in a science immersion program at Cebu Doctors’ University, conducted an educational outreach on public speaking for elementary students, and am an education committee member of Sanga PH.
I enjoy learning, but I especially enjoy helping other people understand things that may seem difficult at first. I try to make lessons comfortable and approachable, so students can ask questions freely without feeling embarrassed about what they don’t know. I’m patient, willing to explain things in different ways, and focused on helping students build a strong understanding rather than memorize answers. My goal is to help learners become more confident in their own ability to learn and solve problems.

My teaching approach is centered on FIRST PRINCIPLES: I make sure the basics are genuinely understood before building toward more difficult concepts, connect lessons to everyday examples, and explain the reasoning behind each step. This approach helps learners synthesize the material and relate the lessons to familiar concepts for better understanding, retention, and application of learning. I’m especially suited for elementary to high school students who need help strengthening their foundations in math, algebra, statistics, or chemistry.
