About Tia
With a strong background as a behavior support practitioner and a degree in psychology, I bring both professional expertise and real-world experience to my tutoring. I have personally witnessed the challenges and impacts of behavioral issues, which gives me unique insight and empathy when supporting students. My approach is genuinely caring, bubbly, and future-focused—I’m passionate about helping others grow and succeed. I am enrolled in a Master’s in Counseling and Psychotherapy, further deepening my understanding of brain and behavior connections. With a background in psychology and behaviour support, I offer empathetic, student-centred tutoring tailored to each learner’s needs. My sessions run for a minimum of 60 minutes and are delivered face-to-face virtually. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, active listening, and interactive discussions to help students understand complex concepts. I encourage questions and critical thinking, aiming to build both knowledge and confidence. My lessons suit high school, uni students, or anyone keen to learn more about behaviour and psychology!
