About Isobel
Hi! I'm a first-year student studying a BA of psychology with honors at USYD, with minors in French and Italian. I graduated from Fort Street HS last year, and particularly loved studying the Englishes and humanities, though found math to be quite therapeutic, and a good break from all the essay writing. My completion of two major works last year emphasized the importance of love for a subject in success, and so I work with all my students to help them develop a genuine interest, as I believe this is the most important aspect in striving for greatness.

I focus on helping the child develop a love - or at least tolerance - for the subject, while also giving the best strategies for maximum marks. The typical lesson would last 1-2 hours, though I am perfectly willing to go longer or shorter, depending on the student's needs. I can give general assistance for all standardized subjects up to year 11, including OC and selective prep, as well as math advanced, English advanced, ext1 & 2, ancient history, history ext and geography up to HSC level.
