About Sophie
I am experienced in teaching and tutoring, I spent 3 years in school mentoring younger students in STEM subjects and was a head STEM ambassador and Psychology ambassador in year 13. I also spent many years as a Cadet Non-Commissioned Officer in the Air Training Corps meaning I was responsible for many aspects of teaching, training, welfare and development. As well as 11 GCSEs, 3 A-levels and an EPQ, I also hold BTECs in Aviation and Personal Development as well as qualifications in first aid, leadership, cyber security and radio communication.

I base my teaching methods on assisting students in their understanding of topics through exam technique, so they feel ready to face assessments. I find it’s really important to help students find their confidence through helping them to extend their ideas and detailed feedback.
