About Suzi

Hello, I'm Suzi. My background spans mental health, wellbeing, reflective practice, coaching, therapeutic group facilitation and nature connection. Over the years I have worked in community mental health, higher education, psychological therapies services and the voluntary sector. I have also project-managed three psychological therapies services in partnership with NHS organisations, and developed an award-winning mentoring service.

I hold a BSc in Psychology and postgraduate training in CBT, and am trained in Coaching and Mentoring, Solution Focused Coaching and Motivational Interviewing. I have specialist training in working with post-natal mums and an Adult Education Teaching Certificate. I am also a trained Nature Facilitator with training in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) and RHS level 2 qualifications. Currently completing professional coach training and preparing to undertake the ILM Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring.

I am currently the Mental Health lead for a small local charity which provides nature-based therapeutic group sessions in parks and green spaces for people struggling with their mental health.

I believe people need spaces where they can slow down, think clearly and reconnect with themselves without pressure or judgement.

My coaching approach is gentle, thoughtful and grounded in understanding:

- the realities of being human
- the impact of stress and life change
- the importance of feeling safe and heard
- the restorative value of nature, movement and creativity

I work in a way that combines psychological understanding with practical, compassionate support.

Some people come to coaching feeling overwhelmed, burnt out or stuck. Others are adjusting to long-term health conditions, navigating menopause, new parenthood, identity changes or difficult life transitions.

Together we create space to reflect, gain clarity and explore meaningful next steps at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.

I have worked with a wide range of people over the years, including:

- new parents in the postnatal period
