About Amanda
I completed my degree through the Open University. Working full-time in student support in a busy secondary school, at the same time as studying, gave me a healthy appreciation of self-motivation. It also showed me how important it is to tailor learning to your individual style.
I've always loved psychology as a subject, but through the Open University I discovered a love of learning. I aim to pass both those things on to my learners. I like to spend some time in the initial lessons finding the best learning techniques for the individual and creating a plan based on perceived weaknesses. It makes a huge difference when progress can be seen in this way.
I currently work as a freelance writer, while in the final year of my MSc Health Psychology, so I'm able to be flexible with times. If you don't see a lesson time which suits you, get in touch and we'll see if we can work something out. I am happy to work with you remotely, via email or skype, if that is more convenient.
