About Charlotte
I am a university student at UCL, studying Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics; and part-time private tutor. I have given Maths lessons to international students and English lessons to second-language learners - to both primary school children and secondary school children aged 12-15 (paid work experience). At A-level I studied Philosophy & Theology, Mathematics/Further Maths, and Chemistry and gained A*-A grades in all subjects. I am also professionally interning at university laboratories and participating in funded research programmes in both UK and US (Carnegie Mellon University, Stanford).

My teaching will be oriented around the individual student's needs, hence I will first ask what my tutee is hoping to achieve and design a class structure based on their goals. I am hoping to (1) tutor English to non-native speakers (2) use my professional knowledge to help young people (all age groups from 11 - undergraduate) to achieve their full academic potential in psychology, philosophy and relevant fields. I am very open-minded and outgoing as a person: in addition to my professional skills I also participate in arts and culture (e.g. music, digital design) and volunteering work with young people and the vulnerable communities.
