About Sonya
I enjoy both English and Psychology, having read lots outside the syllabus. While at school, I ran the Psychology Society and the School Magazine (where I both contributed and was a Head Editor). I'm interested in both creative and analytical writing, having attended a creative writing society while at school. I'm also very passionate about public speaking and debating. I've also been both a peer mentor for Year 7s and a Religious Studies tutor for Year 11s whilst in school so have lots of experience with different learning styles, ages, and abilities.

Use a range of tasks (e.g. creative writing, close analysis, essay paragraph practice) to make the lessons lively and engaging. Also can help prepare revision materials and give suggestions for how to make useful notes that fit your learning style. Typical lesson lengths would be anywhere from 45-60 mins.
Achieved 3A* as A-Level and 11 A* at GCSE, have experience both with tutoring and editing essays (for university applications and for school assignments). Happy to do lessons for any age group.
