About Bethan
I tutor A-level Psychology and am currently studying Psychology at the University of Nottingham. I have a genuine passion for understanding human behaviour and helping others develop their own interest and confidence in the subject. I achieved an A in A-level Psychology, an A* in Applied Human Biology and a B in A-level Geography, giving me a strong academic background across both Psychology and the sciences.
Psychology has always been a subject I have particularly enjoyed, and studying it at university has allowed me to explore areas beyond the A-level specification and develop my knowledge even further. I am very passionate about Psychology and enjoy helping students understand not only what they need to know, but how to apply it effectively in exams. My lessons are suitable for Year 12 and Year 13 AQA Psychology students of all abilities, whether you need support understanding the content, want to improve your exam technique or are aiming for the highest grades.

I tutor AQA A-level Psychology, with a focus on helping students turn their knowledge into high-scoring exam answers. Having recently completed my A-levels, I understand the specification and know exactly what examiners look for, particularly in 16-mark questions. My 1-hour lessons use active recall, past paper questions, essay plans and model answers to build both knowledge and exam technique. We will first make sure you understand the content, before working on how to apply and evaluate it effectively in exam questions.
