About Vera
Hello! I am from Singapore originally, but have been in the UK for four years now. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Exeter, worked in somes schools in London and am currently completing my research training at UCL. I love Psychology and am keen to specialise in special education research in the near future. I am excited to help you foster your passion for Psychology as well or at least make academic writing a more enjoyable process. My hobbies include gyming/ playing the electric guitar/ watching netflix/ swimming / beading and so on.
My credentials:
-ESRC accredited research training MSc in Educational Psychology at UCL (ranked 1st globally for education research)
-1st class Hons for undergraduate programme at University of Exeter (Russell-group research focused programme)
-Awarded academic achievement for Psychology diploma performance at Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore
-7 distinctions for GCSEs

-optimise available resources
-get distinctions for undergraduate psychology papers
Lessons are tailored to you, our first session will be free, and the following sessions would be £17/h. In an hour, I will cover at least one core skill, and answer as many questions possible within the hour. We could discuss how to strengthen your essays.
Having studied Psychology for six years, I understand what makes a good academic essay/research paper. I have received distinctions on novel research topics (squirrels, peak shift, multilevel modelling, face recognition and so on).
