About Reshum
I'm a Psychology student with a genuine passion for helping others learn and grow. Alongside my studies, I teach Islamic Studies to young children at my local mosque, which has taught me a lot about patience, creativity, and adapting my approach to suit different personalities and learning styles. I've also worked in retail for several years, which has helped me become organised, reliable, and confident communicating with people from all walks of life.
I believe learning works best when students feel comfortable, supported, and understood, and I try to bring that approach to every session. I'm friendly, approachable, and committed to helping students build both their knowledge and their confidence.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending time with family and am always keen to keep learning myself, whether through new experiences or conversations with people about what they're passionate about.

In my lessons, I use a mix of explanation, guided practice, and past-paper questions to build understanding and exam technique. I focus on identifying gaps in knowledge early and tailoring each session to the student's needs and learning style. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student.
I have experience teaching and supporting learners of different ages in both academic and community settings, with a calm, patient, and encouraging approach.
My lessons are suitable for students studying Religious Studies & English Language up to GCSE level, and Psychology at GCSE or A-Level.
