About Alice
Alice is a published fiction writer and academic. She is Associate Writer in Residence at Wytham Woods and tutors in Creative Writing for Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University. She has run workshops, taught creative writing, and provided mentoring for writers at all stages since 2015, and prior to that taught other areas including music (she has a doctorate in music history). She works regularly as a mentor for Oxford Writing Mentors, and has run residential writing retreats around Europe. She is Oxfordshire rep for the Society of Authors and regularly runs events for local authors. She loves working with individuals on fiction projects, from short stories to novels, whether you're just starting out or looking to find a publisher.

Our sessions focus on what you need, whether that's time and space to think about your writing, your characters or your plot, or coaching through the publication process. From large-scale structural edits to sentence-level linguistic tricks, we will work together to make your work the best it can be. Lessons are typically an hour, and primarily take place online. These lessons are aimed at adults who take writing seriously, whether as a hobby, an aspiration, or as a career, whether you are just starting out or have years of experience but need a helping hand with your current work-in-progress.
