About Evelyn
I know how difficult it is to get someone to proofread or tutor you in something you think you're brilliant at. I'll be the first to tell you -- no one is perfect. Two published novels and I'm still figuring it out. I can assure you, I will strengthen your writing. I will make you a confident writer. Everyone deserves to have something they're proud of. Whether it be a novel, a book of poems or even a stage play -- take pride in what you do. It takes confidence to put your heart and soul on to paper; but it takes even more to place that stack in front of someone and say: "proofread this for me". I want to make that process less intimidating and I will with my guidance and actual constructive criticisms.

I am patient with everyone. You cannot teach excellence without patience. You will make mistakes and that's alright.
I will start by getting a basis of your writing knowledge, no it does not have to be extensive. Then, from there I can proofread a rough draft of an essay or a book or a poem. I can point out what can be improved on and from there shape you to better understand the art.
I am a tutor that is patient, yes, but I will not hold your hand and guide you every step of the way. I want you to be able to pick up on your own mistakes and be able to correct them. From there, we can edit or approve the correction. You don't learn if you don't make mistakes or are shown everything with someone holding your hand.
My lessons are for anyone who wishes to become a stronger writer. Whether you're still in school looking for someone to proofread that dreaded English essay or if you're someone who wishes to or is currently looking to write a book.
