About Sergio Alejandro
I am a chemist graduated from the National University of Colombia with a Master's in Chemical Sciences. My research area is the chemistry of polymeric materials and organometallic chemistry. I have 7 years of experience as a teacher in the areas of chemistry, biology, physics. I have trained students in school and private settings, managing to awaken in them an interest in science and their capacity for analysis and scientific reasoning.

My teaching method is the master classes and the Socratic method of interactive participation, enriched with the use of the tools that technology puts at the service of education. My classes usually begin by asking the student their needs, their study habits, and diagnosing their shortcomings through short diagnostic tests. I continue to explain the theory of the topic that is being treated in a general way, appealing to the laws, theorems, theories or axioms that give meaning to that knowledge, and continuing with application exercises in which the student develops his systematic thought, mathematics and assess the level of appropriation of the knowledge you have just acquired. I use virtual assessment tools, videos, interactive videos, social networks and all possible resources for an adequate learning process using the strengths and talents of the student as a tool.
