About Meghna
I am a passionate and dedicated tutor based in New Delhi with hands-on experience teaching young learners at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. With a background in D.El.Ed, DECCE, and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science, I deeply believe in the power of education to transform lives. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, creative, and meaningful for every student. I want to help children build strong foundations, boost their confidence, and develop a lifelong love for knowledge. Teaching is not just a profession for me—it’s a way to inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and support the growth of young minds in a nurturing environment. My teaching approach is interactive, student-centric, and flexible. I understand that every learner is unique, so I adapt my methods according to the child’s pace, interests, strengths, and learning style. Each session is designed to be engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable rather than memorization-based.
I use a blend of concept-based learning, activity-based tasks, real-life examples, storytelling, worksheets, and visual aids to ensure concepts are understood deeply and remembered long-term. For younger learners, I focus on building reading fluency, writing skills, vocabulary, concentration, and confidence through phonics, picture learning, and hands-on practice. For older students, I promote critical thinking, structured answers, comprehension, and exam-focused writing skills.
I regularly assess understanding through short quizzes, quick reflections, peer-style discussions, and games—so learning never becomes stressful. I also communicate progress with parents and adjust lesson plans whenever needed.
My goal is to create a safe, motivating space where children enjoy learning, feel confident to ask questions, and gradually develope love for knowledge.
