About Jay C
I am currently a student in SMU pursuing a bachelor's degree. I have 10 years of programming experience, starting in secondary school where I first encountered CS50 by chance. I have loved programming ever since.
I have been teaching programming to many peers in school as a teaching assistant. I believe I will be a top choice to tutor students who want to build a strong foundation in programming with the eagerness to learn.

My lessons focus on core problem solving and logic thinking, not just purely syntax. I also make lessons engaging by making students think and interact with the concepts they are being taught through simulations or games.
My lessons are for students who have an interest in programming and want a strong fundamental in programming. The student should also be willing to do extra practice during their own free time outside of lessons.
Typical length of a lesson is 1.5hrs - 2hrs, depending on the attention span duration of the student to continue solving problems.
