About Lydia
I am a science teacher with a PGCE in teaching secondary school science in my 2nd year of teaching looking to gain experience outside of the mainstream classroom setting. Being professional and keeping children safe - including having their social, emotional, and mental health at heart - is a top priority of mine. I enjoy teaching all 3 sciences across the curriculum and age groups of secondary school, my passion within science is psychology but I have a love for physics.

Information about the topic is given with explicit instruction then knowledge is checked with low stakes quizzing before being applied to unfamiliar contexts i.e. exam questions. Lessons will be appropriate for pupils aged 11-16 (KS3 and GCSE) or for 16-18y/o pupils for A Level Biology only.
