About Anson
A warm hello to you! I am a patient and intellectually curious person who loves learning and sharing knowledge. As such, I wear several hats as a qualified teacher, lawyer, and psychology graduate from Russell Group. I believe that lifelong learning and interdisciplinary development generate problem solvers for the future. Multilingualism also allows me to understand and connect with people with different cultures; I am native in Cantonese/Traditional Chinese, bilingual in English, proficient in Mandarin/Simplified Chinese, and working towards B1 French.
Looking forward to meeting you if you share my passion in learning and need some help with Maths (up to GCSE), Cantonese or Mandarin. :)

- I use mastery pedagogy to teach Maths, which means we build upon prior knowledge and progress through small steps, interleave topics to enhance understanding, and consolidate knowledge through spaced repetition and retrieval practice.
- Experience: I taught Mathematics in a state comprehensive (11-16) for a year, and trained pupils to achieve Gold to Bronze Awards in Junior Mathematical Challenge. Before teacher training, I tutored GCSE Chemistry and primary EAL English.
- More than happy to tutor Cantonese and Mandarin too if you are interested in learning these languages. I am native in the former and proficient in the latter.
