About Luke
I am originally from a little town called Blackpool which is near Manchester in England. I studied English Law at University, once i graduated in 2016 I decided to move to Australia. Since arriving in Australia, I am all about adventure and spend most of my time at the beach and surfing. I have also lived and worked in Canada, New Zealand and Central/South America so I have lots of knowledge of different cultures and countries!
I am a qualified TEFL teacher and have most recently taught English to students in Costa Rica. I speak Spanish at an Intermediate level so I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language.
I love to talk about people's interests and hobbies but with my background in Law, I also love talking about legal systems and current world affairs! My own hobbies are surfing, travelling, skating, snowboarding, skydiving and so much more, if you love any of these I would love to teach you!

G'day Students!
My teaching style is all about your interests, getting you to talk about the things you love doing. Sports, music, films, arts and all the other amazing things in life.
Having taught myself to speak Spanish, the best way to learn a new language is conversation, conversation, conversation! I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language and the importance of error correction. I know whilst learning it is essential to be corrected so you don't make the same errors in the future.
I can also help with specifics like job interviews and language exams to help you get the job you want.
The ideal time for a lesson is at least an hour as it can take a while for you get in the groove of talking English. I have taught a range of ages and can cater to any level.
