About Lauren
I am a qualified Secondary School teacher specialising in Science. I am in my 6th year of teaching and have experience teaching all three sciences to GCSE level and Physics to A Level. I have also got experience teaching Maths to GCSE as well as a number of other subjects at KS3 and below. at GCSE level I have experience teaching within the frameworks of the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards for BTEC, combined and triple Science. Whilst at A level I have experience teaching the AQA syllabus, this being said I am happy to teach other exam boards and will always research these thoroughly to ensure the appropriate content and style is studied.
I have taught students with a wide range of additional needs and am undertaking qualifications to further my understanding of working with young people on the Autistic Spectrum.

I came into teaching as my first choice career out of university and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with students in my classroom. I believe education should be fun and inspiring, with the skills taught helping to shape young lives. Tutoring should be more than homework help and should help to further students on this journey.
