About Katie
I am a fully qualified maths teacher with an outstanding track record of success. I am a professional, patient and friendly tutor with excellent subject knowledge of the 1-9 GCSE syllabus that I use to tailor learning to your child's needs.
After graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Business, Accounting and Finance, I spent five years working in a large professional services firm. Following my passion for teaching and mathematics, I decided to change careers and complete a PGCE course with Bath Spa University. I now work at a high achieving school in the Bath area as part of their outstanding Mathematics department.

My PGCE introduced me to a wide variety of techniques and tools that I use day to day in the classroom to adapt my teaching to suit the needs of my learners. It is these same techniques that I use in my online tutoring sessions to engage and support my students.
