About Abigail
I am a passionate teacher of English who has developed fantastic relationships with my students.
I am able to offer high-quality, tailored interventions based on specific needs and can increase grades in a short period of time. As I appreciate the importance of fully understanding my students and their needs before starting on our improvement plan, I offer a free first lesson to identify those needs.
I hold a current, up to date DBS certificate and full UK driving licence.

Creative and engaging lessons designed in a way to be interesting and fun to aid with recall and understanding.
Lessons last for 1 hour and are broken into specific sections to practice GCSE skills.
I currently teach ages 11-16, as well as students with special educational needs and so lessons are suitable for all secondary school ages and abilities.
Whether there is a specific topic you are looking for help with, or a skill needed to develop, a carefully curated set of lessons will be designed to help achieve desired goals.
