When I was in Third Year of Architecture school, I reached out to Bola on LinkedIn asking for advice on how to land an architecture placement and how to create a strong enough CV and Portfolio to get a placement. Although this was my first encounter with Bola, he was kind enough to schedule a zoom meeting with me to review my CV and Portfolio. We went through each page of both documents in detail and he gave me great advice on amends that I could make to each document to make me stand out when applying for jobs. After that meeting, I was in so much awe of how someone who I had never met before was so kind to make time to review things with me — I really appreciated this. I can also confirm that after receiving his advise and making those changes, I landed my self a 6-month placement! I still use the advice that he gave me then now, when I update my CV or Portfolio. And after graduating from Architecture School, I can also confirm that the amends I made to those documents a year ago made me strong candidate when applying for jobs and now, I’ve landed my self two job offers!
