Zhana has been a wonderful art tutor for my daughter. She helped improve her drawing skills significantly, especially with shading, proportions, and observation drawing. My daughter always looked forward to the lessons and gained so much confidence in her artwork.
Zhana is patient, encouraging, and explains techniques in a way that is easy to understand. We've seen a real improvement in both my daughter's skills and her enjoyment of art. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an art tutor.I started learning watercolour with Zhana because I really wanted to become a professional artist and eventually sell my work online. At first, I found watercolour so difficult. I struggled with controlling the paint, mixing colours, and getting the effects I wanted. I was also interested in pastel drawing but had very little experience.
Zhana made everything much easier to understand. She taught me all the key watercolour techniques, including layering, blending, washes, and creating different textures. She also showed me which materials were actually worth buying and explained the differences between papers, brushes, paints, and pastels, which saved me a lot of time and money.
What I liked most was how patient and encouraging she was. She explained things clearly, demonstrated techniques step by step, and always gave helpful feedback. Whenever I got stuck, she would find another way to explain it until it clicked.
Since learning with Zhana, my confidence has improved so much. My watercolour paintings and pastel drawings are far better than when I started, and I now feel much more confident about creating artwork to sell online.
I would definitely recommend Zhana to anyone wanting to learn watercolour, pastel drawing, or improve their art skills. She's a fantastic tutor who genuinely cares about helping her students succeed.I started lessons with Zhana because I wanted to improve my drawing accuracy and learn how to paint reproductions of famous artworks more confidently. She taught me how to break images down proportionally and introduced me to techniques like the grid method, which completely changed the way I approach painting and drawing.
What I appreciated most was that Zhana didn’t just show me what to do — she explained practical tricks and methods that made difficult compositions feel manageable and accurate. My sense of proportion, observation, and confidence has improved so much, and I can now recreate paintings with far more precision and understanding.
I would highly recommend Zhana to anyone wanting to improve their technical drawing and painting skills.I started lessons with Zhana because I wanted to improve my portrait drawing and learn how to draw more realistically. From the beginning, she didn’t just focus on copying what I could see, but helped me understand structure, proportion, and how to really observe the face. This made a huge difference to my confidence and accuracy.
As the lessons continued, Zhana encouraged me to experiment more and develop my own style. She introduced me to more abstract and surreal approaches to portraiture, which completely changed how I think about art. I learned how to move beyond realism and express emotion and ideas through distortion, colour, and composition.
The lessons are always supportive and inspiring, and I feel like I’ve grown both technically and creatively. Zhana is not only a great teacher but also someone who helps you find your own artistic voice.View more recommendations
