About Joel
I have a background in Construction industries (14 years) and a Qualified Teacher (11 years)
I have been teaching online for 1 year and have built a base of happy and wonderful students who are successfully reaching their goal of a high IELTS score.
My best student recently achieved an IELTS score of 9 speaking/9.0 reading/9 listening and 8.5 writing in December 2019 with an overall "band score" of 9. I was sooooooo happy to see her achieve her goals :)

I am patient and kind with my students, supportive and encouraging.
I like to help students with their sentence structure, vocabulary needs, tenses and grammatical structures.
We achieve this by doing "mock" IELTS exams and correcting areas as we identify the problems.
Mouth shape is also something that can be an issue for correct pronunciation, so I am always happy to help my students to practice the sounds and shapes with our mouth and tongue placement.
