About Ad
I am a dedicated and professional Science teacher with a specialism in Chemistry and two years of teaching experience supporting KS3 and GCSE students. I have worked in a challenging school environment, which has strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching to meet the needs of a wide range of learners. My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and tailored to individual learning needs. I use a range of teaching techniques including clear explanations, worked examples, questioning for understanding, and exam-style practice to build both knowledge and confidence. Lessons are structured but flexible, typically lasting 60 minutes, allowing time for revisiting key concepts, guided practice, and independent application. I focus on breaking down challenging topics in science, particularly chemistry, into manageable steps and using real-world examples to support understanding. With two years of teaching experience, including working within a challenging school setting, I have developed strong behaviour management and differentiation skills to support a wide range of learners. My lessons are designed for KS3 and GCSE students, supporting ages approximately 11–16, whether they need help closing gaps in knowledge, preparing for exams, or extending their understanding to achieve higher grades.
