About Lindsay
I am a qualified Chemistry teacher with 8 years of experience teaching KS3 Science, GCSE Science and Chemistry A Level. I teach at a secondary school in North London where I am the Assistant Director of the Sixth Form. I am fully up to date with curriculum changes and have achieved good results with my students in the new GCSEs and A Levels. I regularly provide one-to-one tutoring for my school pupils as well as the children of my friends. As a mother of 3, I also tutor my own children.
I like to tutor through model answers, playing games and giving lots of opportunities to practice exam questions. Learning should be fun and memorable and I customise the lesson to the needs of the student. I am interested in how students learn and retain information and have conducted research into this, recently achieving a distinction in my masters in education.
