About Talib
Computer Science seems difficult, but I can help you achieve success.
I am a qualified Computer Science teacher with QTS, a PGCE and a degree in Computer and Video Games Programming. I have taught secondary Computer Science in the UK and also have many years of teaching experience abroad. I currently work in educational IT, which helps me bring practical, real-world knowledge into my lessons.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping students understand topics that may initially seem difficult. I find it rewarding to see learners grow in confidence, improve their problem-solving skills and realise that they are capable of succeeding in Computer Science.

I provide clear, supportive Computer Science tuition tailored to each learner’s level and goals. My lessons focus on breaking difficult topics into manageable steps, using worked examples, questioning, practical programming tasks and regular checks for understanding.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and can cover programming, algorithms, computational thinking, computer systems, networks, cybersecurity, databases or GCSE exam preparation. I adapt my teaching to suit the learner, whether they need help understanding core concepts, improving coding confidence or preparing for assessments.
I hold a PGCE with QTS and a BSc in Computer and Video Games Programming. I have three years of experience teaching secondary Computer Science in the UK, more than ten years of teaching experience abroad, and I currently work as an IT Technician in education while completing a Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist apprenticeship.
My lessons are suitable for KS3 and GCSE students, including beginners and learners who need extra confidence or challenge.
