About Kavitta
I am a qualified Dentist with an MBA, with a strong academic background and a calm, patient approach to teaching. I enjoy working with children and beginners, and I believe that learning a language should be encouraging, enjoyable, and confidence-building. In my Tamil lessons, I focus on helping students understand the language and use it naturally, rather than memorizing words without meaning. I guide students step by step in learning basic vocabulary, sentence formation, reading, writing, and speaking, depending on their level and needs. I work closely with each student, adapting my teaching style and lesson pace to suit their learning capacity. My lessons are ideal for primary school children aged 6 to 12 and beginners, including students who are new to Tamil or need extra support to build confidence. I am professional, punctual, and committed to providing a safe, supportive learning environment that parents can trust.

I believe in helping students understand and use the Tamil language naturally, rather than relying on rote memorisation. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, meaningful examples, and practical usage, so students understand how and why words, sentences, and grammar are used.
Lessons are conducted step by step, covering basic vocabulary, sentence formation, reading, writing, and speaking, depending on the student’s level. I use age-appropriate examples and simple conversations to help students gain confidence in using Tamil in daily situations.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s learning pace and capacity. I closely observe how the student responds and adjust the lesson length and teaching style accordingly, ensuring they remain engaged, comfortable, and motivated.
