My tutoring philosophy is built on bridging the gap between rote memorization and true conceptual mastery. For Chemistry and Biology, I focus on helping students visualize complex biological processes and understand the underlying logic of chemical reactions, ensuring they can apply these concepts to challenging exam scenarios.
In our lessons, we move beyond the textbook. My methodology involves:
Active Recall & Spaced Repetition: Testing your knowledge frequently to ensure long-term retention.
Exam-Technique Training: Dissecting past papers to understand exactly what examiners are looking for in mark schemes.
Visual Learning: Using diagrams and molecular modeling to simplify abstract concepts.
Lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes long, allowing sufficient time for a structured mix of theory clarification and practical application.
I have two years of experience specializing in the CIE and Edexcel curricula for O Level and A Level students. My background in PharmD allows me to provide deep insights into the syllabus, ensuring that students aren't just prepared for exams, but are also equipped with the critical thinking skills required for university-level science.
Whether you are aiming for an A* or trying to overcome a specific hurdle in organic chemistry or human physiology, my sessions are designed to be supportive, analytical, and highly goal-oriented.
To be noted-
Tailored Support: I provide custom resources, including summarized study guides and categorized question banks for common "tricky" topics.
Progress Tracking: We will regularly review your performance on practice papers to identify and eliminate recurring mistakes.
Communication: I am available between sessions to clarify quick questions via chat, ensuring you never feel stuck during your independent study.

Minal is an excellent tutor. My daughter took her lessons for 3 months and she was prepped for her O Levels mocks and scored A*. I'd highly recommend her.
