About Katherine
Hi everyone!
I am a qualified Dutch tutor with four years teaching experience. I studied Dutch at the University of Sheffield. I have C1-C2 level fluency in written and spoken Dutch and I thoroughly enjoy teaching Dutch as a second language. I have a passion for languages and am a language learner myself (currently learning German and Portuguese!) and wish to share the joy of language learning with others.

I cater to the student's needs. Purely conversational classes are possible as well as more academic/grammar based and written classes. In my lessons, we can focus on conversation, vocabulary, grammar, writing, speaking, reading and listening and - of course - I always ensure that my classes are interesting and fun and that you will be able to apply your Dutch in the real world.
A typical lesson lasts 1 hour (shorter or longer lessons possible on request, price differences will apply).
I have four years teaching experience and a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish, French and Dutch) and a master's in Hispanic Studies.
I have C1-C2 level in written and spoken Dutch. I am 29 (nearly 30!) years old and currently live in the UK.

Perfect! Katherine is a very diligent and wise teacher, she clearly draws on her multi-lingual experience to provide the best knowledge and delivery for her students, packaged in a very friendly, witty, and easy-going format.

I've known Kat since we both took part in a teaching assistant programme in Quebec. Kat is extremely passionate as both a teacher and learner of various languages and actively takes steps to practice and hone her language skills in her free time.
