About Sahel
My name is Sahel, and teaching is truly the work that brings me the most joy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach learners from different ages, backgrounds, and levels, and every experience has strengthened my passion for helping others grow. I genuinely enjoy guiding students, explaining ideas in simple ways, and celebrating every bit of progress they make—no matter how small. What motivates me most is seeing someone become more confident in their abilities. Whether I am helping a young child understand a basic math concept or supporting an adult in improving their English, I approach each lesson with patience, encouragement, and a positive mindset. I take the time to understand how each student learns because I believe everyone deserves to feel capable, supported, and valued in their learning journey. I bring both teaching experience and a caring nature to my sessions. My lessons are designed to make learning feel approachable, encouraging, and genuinely enjoyable. I focus on understanding each learner’s goals and confidence level so I can teach in a way that truly fits their needs. Whether I am supporting someone in improving their English or helping a child strengthen their basic math skills, my approach stays consistent: patient guidance, clear explanations, and steady progress at a comfortable pace.
For English, I work with learners of all ages and backgrounds. A typical session begins with a short warm-up activity to assess comfort and fluency, followed by targeted practice based on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, reading, or writing, depending on what the learner wants to improve. I use real-life examples, storytelling, and practical exercises to make the lessons engaging and relevant.
For basic math, my lessons are designed specifically for children aged 6–12. I introduce concepts through simple explanations, visual aids, and hands-on activities that help them understand numbers, operations, and problem-solving in a calm, encouraging environment. Each lesson includes practice tasks, fun challenges, and a quick review to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is the balance I bring between empathy and structure. I understand how lack of confidence can affect learning, and I make sure every student feels supported, heard, and motivated. With experience in teaching English and a natural ability to connect with young learners, I focus on building both skills and self-belief.
