About Faisal
Hi, I’m an experienced qualified science teacher currently working at a secondary school. My area of specialism is chemistry at A-level. However, as a Science teacher I teach all three sciences.
I have worked with children of all ages and I’m able to teach them either online or face to face. I would promote a mistake based learning environment so it encourages the students to ask questions to help better understand the topic.
Working at three different schools has allowed me to adapt my teaching style and focus on areas that will help improve the children's knowledge and reflect on their future grades.

My main focus is to check students current understanding and to identify areas of improvement. I have a flexible teaching approach where students will receive a deep level of attention and encouragement from me. I am able to allow students to complete mock tests as well as provide them with homework tasks if required.
I have 5+ years past experience in tutoring as I have done so for a number of years. I will be able to help prepare students for exams and teach them skills so they can improve on answering exams questions. I am very confident in subject knowledge and curriculum for KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5. I would be able to identify areas of weakness and any misconceptions and help address them to improve the students knowledge. I will have available worksheets, past questions as well as powerpoint slides if required.
