About Daniel
I'm an experienced academic and English language specialist who has taught at respected higher education institutions in Singapore and Australia. I have also been a teacher and examiner for IELTS, Cambridge exams (FCE, CAE, CPE). I currently work as a learning advisor helping students improve their academic writing and develop the professional communication skills necessary to successfully design and complete high-stakes research projects.
I have expertise in applied linguistics and educational sociology to provide the best possible teaching and learning experiences for my students. In order to connect to all different kinds of students, content and contexts, my approach to education bridges theory and practice by drawing on and integrating research-based teaching and evidence-based praxis. I enjoy working with people to ensure they succeed in their chosen areas and attain their goals.
