About Anthony
My name is Anthony {Tony) Parker and I am graduate chemist (2nd class hons).
I worked in the chemical industry for 50 years and have been involved with all types of resins and polymers including alkyds, epoxies, polyesters, polyurethanes, polyacrylates.
Specific experience of urethane/isocyanate chemistry, electrophoretic coatings and UV cured coatings.
I have, also, given lectures and talks to industry.
In the past I have supervised organic practical classes for students studying at GCSE level.
I would like to pass on my knowledge and experience to the younger generation with a view to stimulating their interest in chemistry

I am a qualified, retired, industrial chemist with experience of tutoring junior staff in the field of organic coatings and polymers.
I am prepared to spend the time explaining principles of chemistry to students studying for GCSE and A level.
I am aware of the AQA requirements for A level chemistry.
I can offer many years experience of practical chemistry and can explain processes of polymerisation and electrophoresis.
I am available online Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
