About Clodagh
I have always had a passion for teaching, having taught horse riding as my weekend job from a very young age. I attended the Gaeltacht in the summer throughout secondary school where I fell in love with the Irish language. I began studying Irish and Law in college but ultimately dropped out to pursue PE and Irish teaching. I love meeting new students and fostering a love and respect for the language through instruction and practice.

Lessons can be either 30 mins or 45 mins. Happy to take small groups at a discounted rate or individuals. Lessons will take place online. I have worked as a grinds teacher for all ages, from primary school to adults, throughout college. I am a fully qualified Irish teacher with experience teaching in an all-Irish school. I am happy to help anyone from the absolute basics to just practicing and perfecting or even just having a conversation trí Gaeilge. I believe in immersion teaching and using and practicing all aspects of language as much as possible (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). I like to work with students to target exactly what they feel will help them be competent and confident in the Irish language.
