About Jane
Born and educated in Shanghai, China, I developed a passion for language, education, and Chinese culture from an early age. I became a qualified Mandarin Chinese teacher and have dedicated more than 20 years to teaching, mentoring, and helping students achieve their full potential.
I have taught Mandarin Chinese in China and the UK and have over 10 years of experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Chinese examinations. I am also an experienced GCSE and A-Level Chinese Speaking Examiner, giving me a deep understanding of exam requirements, assessment criteria, and the techniques needed to achieve top grades.

Over the past 20 years, I have created a unique Mandarin Success work based on my experience as a teacher, tutor, and GCSE/A-Level Chinese Speaking Examiner. This structured yet flexible approach helps students master the Chinese language, develop confidence in communication, and excel in examinations.
