About Rachael
Hey There! My name is Rachael and I am currently deputy head of department at a secondary school, a GCSE examiner and PCGE completed at Durham University. I LOVE Maths and hope to make my students just as enthusiastic! I have been tutoring for over 8 years, including voluntary work helping students with their 11+.
As a degree holder in Maths and Biology, I also offer science tuition with a speciality in Biology up to A-level and all sciences up to GCSE. I have also recently qualified to teach Computer Science too.
Teaching is my passion and I hope to assist in your journey of achieving the best results!

I believe in using your interests and the world around us to teach by finding real world links for each of the subjects. My lessons usually involve me explaining the topic in an interactive way, letting students try practice questions independently then checking answers to see how well they have progressed.
Each lesson is typically an hour, with time for asking questions and consolidating knowledge
