About Haider
My name is Haider Ali. I am a qualified maths teacher with over 8 years of tutoring experience and a graduate of the University of Warwick, where I studied Accounting and Finance.
I specialise in teaching KS3 and GCSE Maths, with a strong focus on helping students build confidence, strengthen weaker areas and improve their exam performance.
My teaching style is clear, structured and patient. I break difficult topics down into simple steps and make sure students understand not only how to answer a question, but why the method works.
I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students become familiar with the types of questions they are likely to face and how to approach them confidently.

My lessons are highly exam-focused and tailored to each student.
I begin by identifying the areas where a student is weakest, then build lessons around those specific topics. I focus closely on the types of questions they are most likely to face in their exams, so every lesson is purposeful and directly relevant.
My aim is not just to help students understand the maths, but to help them recognise exam-style questions, know exactly how to approach them, and become more confident under exam conditions.
