I enjoy teaching young adults and adult learners. I teach by identifying areas that need improvement in the student's ability, and creating lessons to address errors/challenges. I also tailor my lessons to each individual. I base lessons on the specific interests, needs, and goals of the learner. I am a qualified ESL teacher and have worked overseas and in Australia teaching English to mostly Spanish language learners in ESL schools. I can teach all levels. Happy to help with university work, essay writing/structuring, reading, and conversation. Lessons 1-2 hours. I can also do small group lessons for a cheaper rate per person (please see rate details).

Alana is a really great teacher, she has been teaching me informally over the past few years and has helped me to improve my grammar a lot. Now I see members from my community making the same mistakes I used to make and I am glad I have improved so much.

I charge $50 an hour, the same as what I would be paid to teach in a classroom. This covers the Superprof fee, additional time I use to plan your lesson and preparing materials for you.
