About Joshua
Qualified piano, music theory, and beginner guitar teacher living in Southwest/Central London, and willing to travel to lessons within cycling distance.
I have over six years experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, including adults with learning disabilities. I have a B.A in Music from Trinity College Dublin and an M.A from the University of Bristol, as well as a Diploma in Piano Teaching from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
I am friendly, positive, and excited about sharing music with my students and I have experience teaching not only adults and children but also vulnerable adults with Williams Syndrome.
I am capable of teaching many styles of music including Classical, Jazz, and Pop; whatever direction my students want to take.
In addition, I can provide help preparing for exams and performances, but also enjoy teaching improvisation and composition to students who want to explore the world of music.
