About Deahna
Kia Ora (hello, welcome!)
My name is Deahna and I’m from Central Otago, New Zealand.
I’ve taught primary education on and off for 8 years, with lots of traveling and some nannying in between.
When I’m not working, I’m usually found in the outdoors. Biking, hiking, kayaking and camping with myself or my friends. I grew up on a small farm and I’m still close to my family. I love teaching, but hoping to keep up my traveling and this is a great way to do both!

I have 8 years of on and off teaching, ranging from ages 5 to 15 years old. I’ve done all my teaching experience in New Zealand and would love to teach internationally.
Being a primary school teacher, you gain experience of teaching lots of subjects. I love teaching art, PE, reading and sciences.
In 2025 I completed my diploma in yoga instructing. I love hands on teaching, learning how people learn and teaching life skills, not just subjects.
