About Sean
I am a qualified teacher teaching in a large primary school in year 4. I have experience in working across the primary phrase from early years to KS2. I have also worked in year 6 for two years back to back supporting the SATs and preparing the children for them.
I have an enhanced DBS that is up to date, BA (Hons) Degree, qualified teacher status and a strong passion for learning that is fun. I have had experience with working with children from birth to 11 years old with some secondary school experience.
As a recently new teacher I have the recent knowledge to changes in education, practices and theory to support children of all abilities in their learning. and good understanding of the national curriculum. I also have experience with working with children with additional needs and SEND., working one to one and in group work.
I am very passionate about mathematics and enjoy the subject majorly, I like to bring this passion into my lessons to make the learning fun.

My teaching method is to allow children to try and allow them to think and reflect on the answers they give in a safe supportive atmosphere. I approach all my lessons in a relaxing and fun way to make the learning for the children enjoyable and rememberable.
I like to make the learning accessible for all children of all abilities ensuring they learn the skills they need to succeed. I make sure to make the lessons meet the children's needs and assess on how to move forward.

Details
The first lesson is free and will last for 45 minutes and then lessons will be £15 for an hour in person and £12 an hour for online sessions.
The first lesson will consist of talking about what help is needed and any other questions and information. Within this lesson so that I can plan effective lessons I will ask about key areas of learning and what support has taken place already. I will also introduce to your child how lessons will work.
