About Lefu
Hi, I’m Lefu H. Kupeka, a passionate and dedicated Science and Math teacher with over 13 years of experience teaching students across South Africa and the UK. I specialize in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and am also the author of a Grade 10 Physical Sciences Study Guide, which I created to make complex concepts more accessible and easier to understand. I have taught in both state schools and schools of specialization and I am fully certified with QTS (UK). Whether in the classroom or one-on-one, my goal is to help students like you master the material and build confidence in your abilities. Why I’m Interested in Teaching: I’ve always been fascinated by the power of knowledge and the ability of education to unlock a person’s potential. From a young age, I loved the challenge of solving problems and understanding how things worked, which led me to pursue teaching. My journey as a teacher has shown me that every student learns differently, and I find it incredibly rewarding to adapt my approach to suit each individual. I believe that math and science are not just subjects, but tools that empower students to think critically and solve real-world problems. For me, teaching isn’t just about covering the curriculum — it’s about making learning an engaging and transformative experience.
