Education:
I have a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from the University Surrey and a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in Secondary Science. As a result of my teaching degree and teaching experience, I have obtained a Qualified Teaching Status.

I set all my lessons like a three-course menu; Starter, Main and dessert! I usually like to link scientific topics to everyday life as I think that is relatable and easier to comprehend.
My lessons will usually begin by engaging my students in trying to gather what the lesson is about and drawing on their existing knowledge.
The body of my lesson will be building on that knowledge and learning new concepts.
The final part of my lesson will include an informal assessment to understand how much my students have learned.
Depending on the level of my students and what stage they are at in their education, I like to also focus on exam preparation. If my students will continue lessons with me, I usually set homework to prepare for the following lesson.
