About James
My name is James and I have recently moved back to Bristol after working as a data analyst in London and Wellington, New Zealand. I studied at the University of Bristol where I received a first class honours in Physics and Philosophy. After my Bachelor's degree, I studied for a master's in teaching (A PGCE in Secondary Science). I worked as a teacher in Bristol before I moved to London but I have kept tutoring during this time. I have also worked as a Director of Studies in an international summer school. I love tutoring and I have a real passion for maths, science, and physics. I'm really keen to tailor my lessons for each student to make sure they get the most out of each session.

I am a qualified PGCE secondary science teacher with experience teaching in school classrooms and tutoring privately. I have also been Director of Studies for an international summer school. My background in education allows me to tailor my tutoring style to work best for my students and to cover topics in a range of different ways. As a tutor, I really focus on getting my students engaged and enthusiastic about their subject by understanding how and why they'd like to learn. I offer tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students. I align my lesson plans with the syllabus requirements of the student to ensure exam success. I have a first class honours degree in Physics and I have worked as a professional data analyst. I have a genuine passion for maths, physics, and statistics which I bring to every lesson.
